Who is SPF Dermatology?
SPF Dermatology is a Medical practice creating a hybrid approach of holistic solutions and scientific advancement in aesthetic and functional medicine. Our FULL SCOPE OF PRACTICE is focused on modern, conservative and elevated procedural and aesthetic medicine, so that you can feel confident in your own skin and body.

MJ Gandon - Nurse Practitioner
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, MJ’s passion for skincare started at a young age when she tested various products in the skincare and beauty industry. She was introduced to an Aesthetic NP at the time thru her mother, named Madilyn Mitjans, and after MJ’s first aesthetic experience she knew she found a different side of medicine which brought confidence and joy to patients, versus heartache and difficulty as she was currently working in Critical Care as a Registered Nurse. It was experiences like these that led her to practice Cosmetic Dermatology.
A graduate of Chamberlain College of Nursing, with over ten years of formal medical education and training, Monique Jeannine Gandon is a licensed and certified FNP, holding a certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Thru her studies she completed of a full-time, year and a half fellowship focused exclusively on cosmetic procedures with her inspiration, Dr. Madelyn Mitjans. This gave her first hand, Aesthetic experience with a Doctor practicing aesthetics for over 15 years.

Gandon is anticipated to receive herDoctor of Nursing from Chamberlain University in Spring 2024.
MJ noticed a gap in the industry between providers and patients where discounted prices, a lack of transparency and honesty led to less than desirable results. Seeking to bridge that gap, MJ prides herself and her practice on providing a transparent relationship between patient and provider with an emphasis on safety, sterility, education and follow-up to deliver conservative, subtle and natural results.
Lilith Garibyan - Nurse Practitioner
Lilith Garibyan is a graduate of West Coast University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed in the state of California and Florida and holds national certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitoners (AANP). She began her aesthetic practice as an RN and has developed vast experience over the past several years, becoming a highly knowledgeable aesthetic practitioner. “Education never stops for me. I’m always looking for new ways to grow and improve” she says as she continues to attend trainings and seminars all over the country in order to deliver the highest quality of care for her patients.
In addition, she has a wide range of skills as a medical practitioner working in urgent cares, hospice management, primary care clinics, etc.
Lilith bridges the gap between the artistic skill set of an Aesthetic NP and the medical skill set of a Family NP, making her a well rounded individual that delivers patient satisfaction in any setting.

Dr. April Foster - Medical Director
Dr. April Foster is an Osteopathic Physician, board certified in Family Medicine. Dr Foster completed her Osteopathic Training from Nova Southeastern University in 2011 and went on to complete her family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2014, graduating as chief resident. Following residency, Dr. Foster has practiced in a variety of settings to include urgent care, rural medicine clinics, and telemedicine care. From 2015-2016 she held the position of Medical Director of Western Tidewater Free Clinic in Suffolk, Virginia in which she was the sole practitioner and advocate for rural medicine.
Over the past 7 years she has shifted her focus to telemedicine. As a Virtualist Physician, licensed nationwide, she has a vision of increasing access to care through technology and telemedicine platforms.

Medical mission work and a belief that all individuals deserve access to quality care continues to be the central passion of Dr. Foster. Besides virtualist care she continues to focus on medical mission work and opportunities to serve her local community.
Dr. Foster believes that people are the most vulnerable when they are ill. She recognizes the honor and the privilege patients give providers everyday, inviting medical providers into some of their most vulnerable states. Dr. Foster believes that if the medical provider chooses to come alongside a patient; chooses to connect, offer advice, listen, and yield, allowing the patient to find and create their own way, the medical community and provider can impact a patient and a family in a major way. For this to happen the provider and care team has to have the perspective that they are there to serve. She has discovered that service is an amazing gift that connects the patient and the provider and allows healing to happen.

I found MJ and SPF thru google and decided to give them a try. I’ve been having difficulty with my knee and elbow joint. My right knee is always in pain, I’m not ready for surgery and wanted to give Stem Cells a try. It has now been a month since my stem cell treatment into my knee and I can say I’m about 90% better. I no longer have stiffness every morning. MJ was extremely professional, gave a lot of attention to detail and explained to me anatomy and how the stem cell works. I’m so glad I found her, I will be now returning for my Botox treatment for the holidays. Highly recommend.
If you’ve never tried Sculptra , RUN, don’t walk! I recently went to MJ who is a nurse practitioner at SPF. Cosmetic Derm for some filler, but she explained to me how Sculptra worked for collagen and gave me a long term plan for my face and we decided to go for it. It’s been ONE MONTH and I am IN LOVE WITH SCULPTRA! I already see such tightness along my jawline and according to her it takes 3 month but I just booked another treatment. So glad I gave sculptra a try and I can’t see myself going back to fillers. Thank you MJ and team!
I just moved to the area and was needing a bit of filler in my cheeks. I’m always a little nervous trying somewhere new, but MJ exceeded my expectations! Hands down the best injector I’ve had. My goal is to compliment my natural features in the most subtle way when it comes to filler and she gave suggestions, listened to my needs and delivered. I also received the Skinvive by Juvederm hydration injection. This made my acne scarring less visible and my face a lot smoother!
